Erica has a great history of being the ‘behind the scenes operator’ for whatever type of company she’s in. In 1990, Erica was instrumental in forming 501C3 based non-profit organization Helps Out, Inc., whose mission was to educate today’s youth to the perils of drugs, crime, violence, and bullying. Later chapters touched on the awareness of aids, and breast cancer. The children were reached through unique music presentations, chats and demonstrations
Erica continues to serve as the charity’s Executive Director. Due to the high level of Erica administrative work, commitment, and dedication Help Out, Inc. producesPROGRAMS and projects for and with some of the nation’s most noteworthy, charitable organizations. Help Out, Inc. has touched the lives of millions of people.so in 2000 Erica ask her friend mike to go into business he said yes and then mike ask Jason and then DHM was open
In 2000, Erica became -Owner and CEO DHM She’s been prominent in the growth of the company from a basement ‘home studio’ in the Bronx, to the 7 room pro music entertainment facility now on Seventh Ave NYC. Ms. Johnson has remained instrumental in managing, developing, and consulting the careers of chart-topping artists and television personalities, including recording artist, Lori.In 2006, Ms. Johnson co-founded,
DHMJLIVE a company that which went on to produce the classic album “Year Of The and Tv show My life as Liz (which had its television debut on MTV).Ms. Johnson started and currently directs the educational careers internship program at. Due to her efforts,DHM is considered “a top Management company in the metropolitan area” by industry professionals. Erica came up with 3 new division Came up with DHM Merchandise division and DHM Digital Media division DHM Facilities division

Growing up Mike dream was to be in the entertainment business so in 1999 he got his wish and Contract some of his services out and played professionally with a number of bands that end in 2000 So in 2000 one of mike friends came to him and ask him to go in to business and he said yes so in 2000 DHM. was open this gave Mike and his business partners the ability to get into the entertainment business
So mike Negotiated a deal with one of top three music company this deal gave DHM Cthe ability to do something no one has ever done in the entertainment business this deal gave DHM.way to take underground artists and model and designers and give them a way to get themselves out there on a bigger stage
So in 2001, Mike wants to do more and he did by Negotiated a deal to buy out MCH Publication the deal give DHM the largest publication catalog for all 3 entertainment industries with royalties stopping at 6.8 million
So in 2002 mike was back at it again Negotiated a deal To become a 50% owner in innocent productions this give DHM the ability to have producers So in 2005 Mike Negotiated a deal to buy out Studio B Recording the buy out gave DMH a 50%ownership so it was time to make Studio B Recording the destination for all artists
Jason Director of Facility
As a veteran Engineer in NewYork City for the past 22 years, Peter has worked with some of the best in the business including Sporty Thievz for which he received a Platinum Record credit to his list of accomplishments.
Other gifted artists include Krs One, Big Daddy Kane, M.O.P., Peter Gunz, Jin, Gangstarr, Don Omar, Young B, P-Star, Megan Rochell, MF Grimm, Brooklyn Zu, Webstar and Jim Jones to name a few. His studio training has given him the opportunity to work OUT of various famous studios such as Power Play Studios, Unique, Quad, KMA, Chung King, D & D, Soundtracks, Daddy’s House, Platinum Sounds, Sony and The Hit Factory.
Terry has had the pleasure of either mixing, editing, remixing, collaborating, or doing live sound for artists and performers such as Lori , The ViiBE Dance Center, curator Victor P. Corona, Lady Starlight (Lady Gaga’s DJ/collaborator), Jason Martin + Power Animal Systems, Andrew Barret Cox, Kayla Yvonne, Breedlove, producer Barb Morrison, R.e.a.P, B3B3′, Mitchell Royal, Zephrah Soto, Gabbie Giftsz, and more here
Got Her Start: As a Texas native, a career in music business was always on Jenny ’s radar. Through interning with several different music companies throughout college and then working for family business as an assistant talent buyer and production associate at GK Management,Jenny has gained experience in several different aspects of the industry. She has developed the skills of managing a large volume of various duties and creating an event from start to finish. Her lifetime love of music and the artists themselves has given her the passion to work with artists in building their careers.

Alisha focus is anything and everything visual. Whether it’s designing part of our office, directing a photo shoot or pulling together packaging on the upcoming CD or EP, her eyes are on it. Making sure our artists and products are presented in the best way possible. Got Her Start: In architecture and interior design. Her natural ability for seeing how pieces of the puzzle fit together served her well in this profession and has translated seamlessly into the music industry. When problems arise for artists, she instinctively knows how to create a well-structured approach to reaching a solution. , she grew up in a household immersed in music, and developed the same natural love of artistry that has driven her father for so many yearsWhat Others Say: Alisha G is a stabilizing force among the DHM team.
She remains centered no matter the situation, which allows her to bring wisdom to the table and keep everything on an even keel. She loves people and takes time to invest in her relationships with artists, which is one of her favorite parts of the business. Outside the Office: Alisha gets an immense amount of joy from spending time with her husband and family. She also loves baking and photography. “I think it’s because there aren’t really rules,” she says. “

Martin B is an Artist manager. Martin handles day-to-day operations for several artists and also aids in their strategic development. he
Got His Start: As a full-time touring and recording musician for the band The Pool Boys. After eight years, six albums, an average of 200 shows a year, and 140,000 records sold independently, Martin came off the road and transitioned into management. His experiences as an artist have allowed him to view the industry through their eyes. He understands the unique challenges of life on the road, both emotionally, mentally and physically. He’s gone from being on stage to repairing a broken down tour bus with no money, to almost losing his legs while putting snow chains on that same bus, Martin understands the perils of life on the road. He currently handles management duties for DHMGlobal
: Martin is a “make it happen” kind of guy who barrels down on details. He has a great ability to make quick decisions while thinking everything through at the same time. If your car broke down, Martin is the guy you would want to call. He has an excitable nature that complements his authentic personality in a way that allows him to form genuine relationships with every artist he manages.
Outside the Office, Martin is community-oriented and loves being with friends and family. He and his wife, Brea, have a daughter, Finley, and a son, Cason. Martin also enjoys running, being outdoors, and anything involving adventure (unless it’s putting snow chains on a bus).University of Kansas

After earning a degree in Recording Technology, Joe began his real education- serving as an intern and runner at various studios around Nashville. Along the way, he had the privilege of working under some of Nashville’s highly respected Engineers. Through these experiences he fell in love with the Nashville Standards- sessions that usually move at a quick pace, and offer the highest results imaginable. Joe strives to uphold these standards in all of his work, which makes him a great fit at the Sound Emporium.
After graduating from Full Sail with a Bachelors of Science in Audio Production, Rachael decided to relocate to Nashville in hopes of pursuing audio engineering among the best in the music capital of the world. She did just that by continuing to gain experience at various studios and working under world renowned producers and engineers. Rachael joined the Sound Emporium family in the Spring of 2015 and is excited and honored to be added to the ranks of such an historic Nashville treasure. Always up for a challenge and eager for new experiences, Rachael is excited for what will walk through the doors next at Sound Emporium!
Zack spent two summers interning at various studios in and around Nashville. After completing his Bachelors degree in Sound Recording Technology from SUNY Fredonia in Western New York he made the permanent move to Nashville. Since being in Nashville he has assisted and engineered various projects. He is excited to bring his experience to the Sound Emporium family and is looking forward to gaining additional experience from such a legendary studio.
